Abigail is the perfect mother and sacrifices herself for everyone, yet she feels alienated and directs her anger against herself. Yael is a wounded daughter. Abandoned by her parents, she wants to be the mother of all orphans, neglecting the one who needs her love the most, her sister. Abused by her step-father, Naama is now mothering her aging abuser.

The film connects the stories of three women on the verge of a nervous breakdown and explores themes of love, desire and sexuality in the various forms in which they may be expressed.
